After only 10 days in the city, and with no lessons, he was cast in his first Broadway play. Over the decades, Tommy has appeared in many films, including 1997's Men in Black and 2007's No Country for Old Men. He has been nominated for four Academy Awards, winning once in 1993 for his supporting role in The Fugitive. In the 2000s, the actor took an interest in directing. Today, he has three acclaimed directorial efforts under his belt. Through it all, the man has garnered plenty of respect, as well as a reputation for being slightly eccentric.
