Jefferson is a stand-out young gelding ready for a red ribbon and Christmas tree! He is 14.3hh, a solid 1000lb and has a mane and tail to drool over. We have used him all over the ranch this past year with multiple levels of riders. From gathering to taking care of inexperienced riders in rough terrain this young gelding is ready for his forever rider to take him to the next levels. Jefferson can sit for days to weeks at a time and ride off the same. He will sidepass to a mounting block, rock or truck bed for the comfort of his rider. Jefferson is very willing to learn and has taken to tricks with ease and as such has a solid foundation for his lay-down. He will meet you in the pasture, has always been easy to catch and is good for the vet and farrier. Jefferson rides around one handed and will lope as small or as large a circle as the rider asks. He is very tuned in to his rider and will be ready to speed up when asked or put his nose on the ground and lope a pretty circle if that is the job at hand. Jefferson is not spooky at new things, will ride around bridle-less and carries a flag. We feel that Jefferson will make someone an awesome all-around gelding. He has the talent to be a break-away roping prospect, a stand out ranch horse, a rodeo Queen horse, to the prettiest trail horse around or even just be your best buddy.
