Extremes - 2017 Wild Mustangs of SE Oregon April

April 2017 trip Time: About 28 minutes.This trip "Extremes" we experienced - from extreme weather to extreme emotions, we felt it all out there. It is safe for all viewers. Even the weather had it's wild unpredictable moments being spring on the high desert. Parts of the HMA are closed off due to Sagegrouse clear into mid May, and so we spent more time hiking to areas- miles and miles... and uphill both ways it seemed 😉 .The weather was rather fickle- trying not to trip over lava rock, hoofing it up hill while less than gracefully removing layers as the sun beat down- no time to waste when we have miles to cover. But as extremes have it, as soon as I shed the layers, the cold wind began to blow, blowing in a large storm cell right overhead, and started hailing.
