What makes a good story great? Join me in diving into the amazing new animated series, Arcane, based on the League of Legends Games. This video essay & review of Arcane focuses on the how the series uses visual storytelling through act 1, act 2 and act 3, telling the story of Jinx, Vi, Silco, Caitlyn, Ekko and a large cast of characters over the course of several years through many episodes. I analyse and theorise some of the key moments in the series, including it's use of foreshadowing and metaphor.
